Developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), “SOC for Service Organizations reports are designed to help service organizations that provide services to other entities, build trust and confidence in the service performed and controls related to the services through a report by an independent auditor.” SOC 2 defines criteria for managing customer data based on five “trust services principles” – security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. Being SOC 2 compliant ensures that Petrosoft securely manages customers’ data to protect the interests of the organization and the privacy of its clients, who can rest assured as their data is secure, available, and held in confidence.
