This Privacy Policy explains how Petrosoft, LLC (“Petrosoft,” “Company,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use the Go Loyalty mobile application (“Go Loyalty” or the “App”). This policy applies to all users of Go Loyalty in the United States. It is designed to comply with applicable U.S. laws – including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) – and to meet the requirements of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. By using Go Loyalty, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Information We Collect

We only collect the minimum information necessary to provide the Go Loyalty services. This includes:

  • Contact Information: When you register an account on the Go Loyalty App, we collect your mobile phone number. We use your phone number to create and authenticate your account (e.g. via verification codes) and to identify you within the loyalty system.
  • Location Data: With your permission, we collect your device’s geolocation (GPS coordinates or general location) to show nearby participating stores and relevant loyalty offers. Location access is optional – you can use the App without granting this permission, but certain features (like finding the nearest store) will not function.
  • Age Verification Data (21+ Offers): Certain loyalty offers available through Go Loyalty are restricted to users who are 21 years of age or older. To access these offers, you must complete an age verification process conducted by our third-party provider, AgeChecker.net. During verification, you will be asked to provide personal information (such as your name, address, date of birth) to AgeChecker.net’s secure verification system. Petrosoft does not store the personal information you provide during this process. We only receive the final verification outcome — confirmation of whether you meet the age requirement. Based on this result, we maintain a simple status flag in your profile (e.g., “21+ verified” or “not verified”) for purposes of controlling access to restricted offers.

  • Loyalty Activity: When you interact with loyalty offers, we collect data about your engagement. For example, if you select (activate) a particular offer, we will record information such as your loyalty ID, the specific offer selected, the time and date, and the store associated with that offer. This information allows us to track offer redemptions and eligibility.
  • Device and Technical Data: Like most mobile services, we automatically receive basic technical information when you use Go Loyalty. This includes data such as your device type/model, operating system version, App version. We may also log the dates/times you access the App and any error reports or crash data. We use this information solely to ensure the App functions properly (for example, to debug issues, maintain security, and ensure compatibility with your device). We do not use this data to profile you or for advertising purposes, and we do not track you across different apps or websites.

No Sensitive Payment Data: The current version of the Go Loyalty App does not collect any payment information, credit card numbers, or financial account data, as the App itself does not handle purchases or payments. We also do not collect any precise biometric data or health information. The information we collect is primarily for account identification, location-based store lookup, and loyalty offer participation as described above.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect strictly for the following purposes:

  • Providing and Improving the Service: We use your information to operate the Go Loyalty app and provide its core features. This includes creating and managing your account, authenticating you when you log in via phone number, showing you relevant loyalty offers, and enabling you to activate/redeem those offers. We also use data (like device info or error logs) to monitor the performance of the App, fix bugs, and improve user experience.
  • Location-Based Features: Your location data is used to display nearby participating stores and relevant in-store offers on the App’s map or list view. We use your location only at the moment you search for stores or offers, in order to provide you with localized content. Location data may also be used to verify that an offer is available in your vicinity or to prevent misuse (for example, ensuring a user is at or near a store when activating an in-store promotion).
  • Age-Restricted Content Access: If you attempt to access offers marked “21+”, we use the age verification result from AgeChecker.net to determine your eligibility. The result of your age check (verified or not verified) is used to grant or deny access to the restricted offers within the App. We may also retain a record that your age was verified on a certain date, so you do not have to verify repeatedly for every new offer (verification might be required periodically or as needed).
  • Facilitating Loyalty Offers & Partner Reporting: When you activate or redeem a loyalty offer, we use the collected offer information to facilitate the promotion with the offer’s sponsor (manufacturer). Specifically, Petrosoft uses your loyalty user ID and offer activation details to inform the manufacturer that a particular offer was taken up by a user. This allows the manufacturer to track the success of their promotion and, if applicable, to credit the corresponding retailer (for example, a manufacturer might reimburse a store for a discount given to you). We only share the minimum details necessary (see “How We Share Information” below for details). Internally, we may also use aggregated offer activation data to understand overall usage of the App’s offers (e.g., how many users activated a certain deal) in order to improve the service and partner relationships.
  • Communication: We may use your phone number or in-app notifications to send you important messages about the App or your account. For example, we send verification codes via SMS to authenticate your registration or login. We might also send service-related announcements (such as updates to terms or privacy policy, or security alerts). We will not send marketing or promotional text messages or make telemarketing calls to your phone number through Go Loyalty unless you separately consent to such communications. (Standard message/data rates may apply to any SMS we send or you send, such as for verification.)
  • Customer Support: If you contact us with a question, feedback, or request (for example, if you email our support), we will use any personal information you provide (such as your contact info or description of the issue) to respond to you and resolve any issues. We may also look into your account details or logs as needed to assist you.
  • Legal Compliance and Prevention of Misuse: We may use your information as necessary to comply with applicable laws and regulations, and to enforce our Terms of Use. For example, we may use your age verification status to ensure we are not showing restricted content to minors, in compliance with laws. We may also use data to investigate and prevent fraudulent activities or abuses of the App – for instance, to detect if someone is attempting to bypass verification or create multiple accounts in violation of our terms. If required, we will use data to comply with law enforcement or government authority requests (only as legally required and as described further below).

Importantly, we do not use or share your personal information for any purposes other than those described above. In particular, we do not sell your personal data or use it for third-party advertising or profiling. All processing of data is done to provide you with the loyalty service, to comply with the law, or to protect our legitimate interests (such as the security and integrity of the App) in a manner consistent with your rights and expectations.

How We Share Your Information

Petrosoft understands the importance of keeping your personal information private. We only share your information with third parties in a few specific situations, outlined below. We do not disclose or sell your personal information to unrelated third parties for their own marketing purposes.

  • Participating Retailers: The Go Loyalty App is used across multiple participating convenience stores and gas stations that subscribe to our Go Loyalty system. If you choose to engage with an offer at a particular store, we may share relevant details with that retailer to facilitate your loyalty benefits. For example, when you visit a participating store to redeem an offer, that store’s system might access your loyalty ID to verify your account and apply the discount. In general, information like your loyalty ID and selected offers will be available to the store where you redeem the promotion. We share only what is needed for the store to honor and manage the loyalty program (such as confirming you haven’t already used an offer, etc.).
  • Product Manufacturers / Offer Sponsors: Some loyalty offers in the App are provided by third-party product manufacturers or vendors. When you select or redeem such an offer, we share certain data with the offering company to let them know the promotion was claimed and to enable them to process the discount. This data typically includes: your loyalty ID, the specific offer or coupon you claimed, the date/time of the claim, and the store location where the offer was used. We do not share directly identifying personal info like your name, phone number, or contact details with the manufacturer; they receive only the data needed to validate and honor the promotion. The manufacturers may use aggregated or anonymized redemption data for their business analytics, but they are not permitted to use your loyalty information for unrelated marketing unless you separately consent to that with them.
  • Age Verification Service Provider: As noted, we integrate a third-party service, AgeChecker.net, to perform real-time age verification for restricted offers. In that process, AgeChecker.net will collect the personal information needed to verify your age (such as your name, address, date of birth). AgeChecker will use that information solely to verify your age and will not retain it longer than necessary for the verification process. AgeChecker provides us only with the outcome (success or failure of age check, and a confirmation that your age is above the required threshold or not). Please note: AgeChecker.net is an independent service with its own privacy and data security practices. We recommend you review AgeChecker’s privacy policy to understand how they handle the information you provide to them during verification.
  • Service Providers: We use trusted third-party service providers to support our App’s operations. These include, for example:
  • Authentication and SMS providers: We may use an SMS gateway or similar service to send verification text messages to your phone when you register or log in. In doing so, your phone number and message content (like a one-time code) will pass through that service provider. They are only allowed to use this information to deliver our communications to you.
  • Analytics/Crash Reporting: To improve the App’s stability and user experience, we might use third-party analytics or crash reporting tools (such as Google Firebase or similar) which can automatically collect device info and usage events (like a crash log) when the app encounters an error. These tools may receive technical data about your device and app usage. We configure these tools to avoid collecting any sensitive personal details whenever possible, and they are contractually forbidden from using data they collect from our App for any purpose other than providing services to us.
  • Other Vendors: If we engage third parties for services like cloud hosting, data storage, or push notification delivery, those providers might process stored information (such as your account data or device token for notifications) as part of their services. We require all our service providers to protect your information and to use it only for the specific services being provided in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
  • Legal Compliance and Protection: We may disclose personal information to outside parties if required by law or legal process, or if we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (a) comply with an applicable law, regulation, subpoena, or court order; (b) protect the safety, rights, or property of any person or the public (including to enforce our Terms of Use or investigate suspected violations); or (c) respond to and cooperate with valid law enforcement requests or investigations (for example, providing information for fraud prevention or addressing security incidents).
  • Third-Party Links: The Go Loyalty App is primarily a closed platform for viewing offers, and it generally does not contain external links. However, in some cases, an offer or section of the App may direct you to an external website or service (for example, to view detailed terms of a promotion or to complete age verification). Please be aware that if you follow a link to any third-party site or service, those third parties operate under their own privacy policies, not ours. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of sites or apps that we do not control. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with.

Your Rights and Choices

You have certain rights and choices regarding your personal information and how it is handled by Go Loyalty:

  • Access and Update Your Information: You may review and update certain personal information associated with your account by accessing your account profile or settings in the App (if available). For example, if your phone number changes, you can update it by re-registering with the new number. If any information we have is inaccurate or out-of-date, please contact us so we can correct it.
  • Account Deletion (Right to Delete): You have the right to delete your account and the personal data associated with it. If you wish to permanently delete your Go Loyalty App account, you can do so at any time. We have made this process simple:
  • In-App Deletion:
  1. Navigate to the account settings or profile section of the Go Loyalty App.
  2. You will find an option labeled “Delete Account”.
  3. Selecting this option will initiate the deletion process.
  4. For your security, we may ask you to confirm your decision. Once confirmed, your account will be deactivated and your personal data (such as phone number, loyalty ID, verification status) will be scheduled for deletion from our systems. Please note: Account deletion is irreversible.
  • Upon receiving an account deletion request (through the app or via contact), we will anonymize your personal information from our active databases, except for any information we are required to retain by law or for legitimate business purposes (as noted in Data Retention above). Any retained information will be securely protected and, if applicable, purged in accordance with regular retention limits.
  • Withdrawal of Consent: In situations where we rely on your consent to process data (for example, using precise location or undergoing age verification), you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can disable location access for the App via your device settings if you no longer want us to access your GPS data. Similarly, if you started an age verification but do not wish to proceed, you can decline to submit the information (though you won’t be able to access 21+ content without completing verification). Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we already performed, but it will prevent further processing of the relevant data. Some features that require consent (location-based store finder, age-gated offers) will not work properly without it.
  • California Privacy Rights: If you are a California resident, you have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) (as amended by the CPRA) regarding your personal information. These include the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request access to or deletion of your personal information, and the right to opt-out of the “sale” of personal information. As noted above, Petrosoft does not sell your personal information. If you would like to exercise your rights of access or deletion, you can use the account tools described or contact us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy rights. For verification purposes, we may require some additional information from you when handling an access or deletion request (such as confirming your phone number or identity).
  • Cookies and Tracking Choices: Because Go Loyalty is a mobile application rather than a website, it does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies in the way websites do. We do not track your activity across other apps or websites for advertising purposes. If in the future we were to use technologies for analytics that function like cookies, we would update this policy and provide appropriate choices (for example, an opt-out of analytics data collection). Your mobile device or operating system might offer settings to limit ad tracking or to reset mobile identifiers – but since our App does not currently utilize advertising networks, those settings may not have any effect on Go Loyalty.
  • “Do Not Track” Signals: “Do Not Track” (DNT) is a concept that has been promoted for internet browsers, allowing users to signal their preference regarding tracking by websites. Because there is not yet a common standard for how DNT should be interpreted, and because Go Loyalty does not track users across third-party sites, we do not respond to DNT signals in the context of our App. If you have enabled DNT on your web browser, that setting does not apply to the App. Regardless, as stated, we perform no cross-site tracking or behavioral advertising.

Children’s Privacy

Go Loyalty is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years old. Users must be at least 13 to use the App, and in practice, as stated in our Terms of Use, users must be 18 or older (or 21+ for certain content) to register and utilize the service. We do not market the App to children, and the loyalty offers available are targeted to adult consumers.

If you are under 13, do not use or register for this App. In the event we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete that information from our records. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately so that we can take appropriate action.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Petrosoft implements industry-standard security practices, including encryption of sensitive data in transit, secure servers, and strict access controls to stored information. For example, communications between the Go Loyalty App and our servers are encrypted via HTTPS, and personal data is stored in secure cloud environments with limited personnel access.

However, please remember that no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. It is also important that you play a role in keeping your information safe. This includes maintaining the security of your account (for instance, do not share verification codes or allow others to use your phone number for login) and notifying us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. In practice, this means we will keep your account information and loyalty activity records while you maintain an account with the Go Loyalty App. If you delete your account or if it has been inactive for an extended period, we will securely delete or anonymize your personal data in accordance with our standard procedures and any applicable legal requirements.

Certain information may be retained longer solely for legal compliance purposes or for legitimate business interests such as fraud prevention. For instance, we might retain records of age verification results or offer redemption logs for a period of time to demonstrate compliance with legal age restrictions or promotion rules. When we no longer have a need to retain personal data, we will dispose of it securely.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update or revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. If we make material changes, we will notify you by means appropriate to the significance of the change. For example, we may post a notice within the App or update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy. In certain cases, we might also provide additional notice (such as via an in-app alert or email, if you have provided one). We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any updates. Continued use of the Go Loyalty App after any changes to the Policy signifies your acceptance of those changes.
