Accounting Integration Support Specialist

The Accounting Integration Support Specialist is an integral part of operations and is responsible for training, consulting, and support for customers in financial areas such as ledger analysis, financial statements, budgeting, auditing practices, taxation, economic regulations and third-party integrations.

Essential Duties

  • Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
  • Gathers information on customer accounting package used and advises best option for accounting configuration within company product suite.
  • Collects information on method of payments used and configure them within product suite.
  • Assists clients with daily balance sheet initial stages and configures accounting module.
  • Provides training, support and communication on synchronizing accounting data with third-party accounting modules.
  • Establishes communication with other accounting software.
  • Reviews, investigates, and informs customers on how to correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
  • Monitors company products compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company procedures.
  • Trains how to use and investigates issues related to standard journal entries within company products.
  • Analyzes current financial status by collecting information; reviewing balance sheet, profit and loss statements and other reports as needed.
  • Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
  • Perform administrative duties, reports and special projects associated with customer accounting support.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Quickbooks knowledge required.
  • Prior experience in integration of software.
  • Prior experience with other software programs such as Sage preferred.
  • Retail industry knowledge.
  • Strong Computer Skills.

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or enrolled in an accredited school for Accounting.
